Odisha government involves corporates to set up COVID-19 centres

Post allowing the State and Central government agencies to have their COVID care centres (CCSs), Odisha Government urged industrial and corporate organisations operating in the State to built such facilities for institutional isolation of their constituents. Asit Tripathy, Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary of Industry Hemant Sharma conducted an interactive sitting on the matter with the chairmen and chief executives of the industrial corporations on digital platforms from Lok Seva Bhawan at Bhubaneswar.

Speaking with the industry leaders, the Chief Secretary said the Government had built a large number of units under the three-tire COVID care system. These are CCCs, COVID Health Centres (CHCs) and Specialised COVID hospitals. Asymptomatic or moderate symptomatic cases will be taken care of in CCCs. Corporate and industry leaders welcomed the idea and accepted to set up CCCs in their facilities for their employees and family members.
