Odisha government partners with TimesPro for Youth Skill Development

On World Youth Skills Day, Odisha Skill Development Authority (OSDA) signed four Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) to enhance skill proficiency and employability of youth of Odisha. One of the significant MoUs signed was with TimesPro, i.e. SAP Partner MoU, in the aim of establishing a digital skilling design in the state.

In a digital conference, the MoU was signed and accorded between- Rashmita Panda, OSDA CEO and Director employment; Anish Srikrishna, Times Professional Learning CEO and Rajesh Musaliyath, SAP COO (digital services).

Under this digital skilling plan, the OSDA-nominated teachers from government engineering and PG management institutes of Odisha will be trained by TimesPro in SAP ERP courses via a virtual train-the-trainer curriculum.

The second step of the programme is that the trained teachers would implement their skills via virtual training to students from several colleges, empowering them to register for SAP global certification and to compete in the worldwide marketplace for higher-skilled opportunities. The programme aims to generate a talent pool for the information technology (IT) enterprise in India and specifically in Odisha.

In the final level of this project, TimesPro will grant 2000 SAP student site licences and certification access for the enrolled students.
