Odisha Govt adopts ‘No Work No Pay’ Policy in Education dept

ONI Bureau:  The Odisha Government has adopted ‘No Work No Pay’ policy in the School and Mass Education (SME) department.

In this regard, the Additional Secretary to the State Government Prabhat Kumar Bhoi has sent letter to all Directors under SME Department informing that “It has been decided to adopt the principle of ‘No Work No Pay’ in respect of the Officers/Officials those who have participated in the strike neglecting their official assignments since long”.

Worth mentioning, the school and college teachers had gone on a 40-day strike and have resumed teachings but continuing their protest by wearing black badges.
