Odisha Govt to appoint 465 Angnanwadi Workers as ICDS Supervisors

Theicds State Government has started a recruitment process for filling up 851 vacant supervisor posts across Odisha.

In response to a question in the State Assembly on Wednesday, Women and Family Welfare Minister Usha Devi said out of over 800 posts, 456 Supervisor posts will be filled up through direct recruitment.

Out of the rest 395 posts, 386 would be filled up through selection from Anganwadi Workers and nine posts will be filled up through promotion from LVLWs by district Collectors.

Notably, during the last three years, Odisha Government has appointed 74 Anganwadi Workers as the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Supervisors.
