Odisha Govt. approves 3 Investment Projects worth Rs 874 crore
State Level Single Window Clearance Authority ( SLSWCA) meeting held under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary Sri Aditya Prasad Padhi in secretariat conference hall on Tuesday accorded in principle approval to 3 investment projects of worth Rs. 874 crore.
Approving the projects Sri Padhi directed the concerned departments to facilitate grounding of these projects by quickening the procedures of various compliances, Chief Secretary also directed the Collectors of all districts to conduct District Level Single Window Committee ( DLSWC) meetings regularly and plan for development of industrial ventures, small & medium enterprises in the district. Principal Secretary Industry Sri Sanjeeb Chopra presented the details of the investment proposals and outlined the issues for discussion.
Replying to a media quarry after the meeting General Manager IPICOL Sri Kalyan Mohanty said that the committee today has approved 3 projects proposals.
These include the proposal of M/S Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd for expansion of its non-alcoholic plant at Industrial estate Khurda with a total investment of Rs.500 cr. This would generate employment for 348 persons.
The 2nd approved project was M/S P & A Bottlers Ltd to set up 2.50 lakh hectoliter capacity brewery at Balarampur of Dhenkal district with an investment of Rs.102 cr which would generate employment for 116 persons.
The 3rd project was M/S Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd to set up a Common User Facility center at Dhutra of Jharsuguda district for storage of petroleum products with investment of Rs.272 crs. This unit would provide employment to around 166 persons.
The projects under State projects Monitoring Group ( SPMG) were also reviewed in the meeting. These projects included Gandhamardan-B mining project of OMC, Daitari Mining project of OMC, South Kaliapani Mining project of OMC, Construction of 220 KV Transmission Line from Laxmipur to Damonjodi Aditya Almunium Project, approach road to RSB Transmission Pvt Ltd., Establishment of railway siding in Jalpaposhi village of Keonjhar district by Bhusan Steel Ltd, Construction of Odisha Power Generation Corporation ash pond in Jharsguda distruct, construction of railway corridor in Jharsguda Sundargarh districts, construction of flay over at Info-valley and Khandagiri crossings in Bhabaneswar, widening of road from Mendhasala to Sea Food park at Deras, development of aluminum park at Angul, Capital region Improvement of Power System project etc figured in the meeting.
