Odisha Govt approves Rs 5,983 Cr Supplementary Budget for current Fiscal Year

The Council of Ministers meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at State Secretariat on Wednesday.

The Supplementary Budget for the year 2016-17 was approved by the Council.

The Budget is scheduled to be placed in the State Assembly on December, the first day of the Winter Session.

The total size of the budget is Rs 5,983.08 crore, out of which Rs 5126.04 crore has been earmarked for State plan expenditures and Rs 795.98 crore for non plan expenditures.
