Odisha Govt begins probe into irregularities in Ravenshaw & Berhampur Varsities

ONI Bureau:  The Higher Education Department on Thursday initiated inquiry into the alleged irregularities in the two major Varsities of the State – Ravenshaw University and Berhampur University.

The inquiry has been initiated following the Chancellor’s order to the Additional Secretary of Higher Education Prasanta Kumar Das to conduct a probe and submit report within 60 days.

The types of allegations ranges in different natures including appointment of staff and lecturers, audit reports, process of recruitments and mode of promotions, funds mismanagement and many more.
