Odisha Govt forms Panels to Pressurise Centre for Mahanadi Tribunal

ONI Bureau:  Odisha Government on Thursday formed panels on the Mahanadi water dispute.

The newly formed panels consists of 15 members each, headed by the leader of the House Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will take up with Centre the matter to set up a tribunal to quickly resolve the river water dispute between Odisha and Chhattisgarh.

Earlier on Wednesday, the State Assembly unanimously passed a resolution to pressurize the Centre for constituting a tribunal to resolve the Mahanadi water dispute.
