Odisha Govt suspends 2 BDOs for not joining Office after Transfers

OdishaBhubaneswar, Sep 11: Odisha government has suspended two Block Development Officers (BDOs) for not joining their respective block offices after being transferred on Thursday. This decision was taken in a high-level meeting chaired by the Pachayati Raj Minister here.

The two suspended BDOs were Ramesh Chandra Hansada and Shyamasundar Tudu. According to reports, Ramesh Chandra Hansada was the BDO of Hatdihi and he was transferred to Sinapali block. And, Shyamasundar Tudu was BDO of Palahara block failed to join at Gudvela block after getting transfer orders.  It is noteworthy that, Odisha Panchayati Raj Minister Dr. Arun Kumar Sahoo had warned officials to join news assignments without making any delay.
