Odisha Govt to launch Startup Policy in Bengaluru

The Odisha Government is set to launch its Startup Policy from August 25 during the two-day Investors’ conclave in Bengaluru.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday presided over a high-level meeting at State Secretariat to review the progress of the Investors’ conclave.

Sources said, Chief Minister will hold meeting with investors at Bengaluru on August 26 as part of the two-day investors’ conclave, scheduled to begin on August 25.

Odisha Government also aims to be among the top three start-up destinations in India by 2020, targeting to attract Rs 2.5 lakh crore investments and create 10 lakh jobs in Odisha.

The State government formulated Startup Policy with a strong aim to create new business ventures and attract investments in several sectors in Odisha by 2025.
