Odisha Govt to lose Rs 2,148.83 Cr Central Assistance in 2015-16

Pradip Kumar AmatBhubaneswar, Aug 25: Odisha government is estimated to lose Rs. 2,148.83 crore from the central assistance during the current fiscal year 2015-16. The state would incur the loss due to change in the centrally sponsored schemes by the central government of India.

This information was given by state finance minister Pradip Kumar Amat to the assembly while replying to a question during the discussion.

Amat said that the state will lose around Rs 8,037.26 crore of central assistance during the current fiscal year. He added that Odisha will gain around Rs 5,888.43 crore funds as per the recommendations made by 14th Finance Commission.

Finance minister said to the house that the state would lose around 2,148.83 crore (the difference amount of Rs 8,037.26 and Rs 5,888.43 crore) in the current fiscal year.
