Odisha holds Investors Meet in Bengaluru today

Naveen PatnaikOdisha government is organising a two-day investors’ meet in Bengaluru beginning from today.

As part of the two-day investors’ conclave, the Ministers for Revenue, Industries and IT hold discussion with various companies and investors today.

According to sources, Colorline plans to invest Rs 20 crore in setting up an apparel manufacturing facility in Odisha whereas Poseidon Aquatech plans to invest Rs 100 cr to undertake Shrimp farming & processing in the State. Wipro GE Healthcare proposed multiple projects and HP Future Cities shows intent to provide technology services in various sectors of the State.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will hold meeting with investors from IT, engineering, transportation, telecom, aviation, defense and other sectors at Bengaluru on August 26.

The State Government is also set to launch its Startup Policy from August 25 in Bengaluru.

Notably, the State Cabinet on Tuesday approved the new Start-up Policy to promote entrepreneurship in the State, targeting to attract Rs 2.5 lakh crore investments in Odisha.
