Odisha identifies land to set up new Airport in Khurda

ONI Bureau: Odisha government identified land to set up new Airport in Khurda district, the Biju Patnaik International Airport Director Suresh Chandra Hota informed on Friday. The State Government has identified around 1,200-1,500 acre land, Hota added.

A meeting was held at the State Secretariat in Bhubaneswar under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi in the presence of Civil Aviation joint secretary Usha Padhi, Khurda Collector and the Bhubaneswar airport director.

The Khurda district administration informed that land at four places — Malipada, Jankia, Tangiapada and Badasahi in the district for the proposed airport.
