Odisha introduces quarantine stamps for travellers

A new quarantine stamp has been introduced in the state. Every traveller who has returned from other states shall be stamped with date in indelible ink. This will be a quarantine stamp. 

Several state governments have started using indelible ink. This indelible ink is the same ink used during voting. It is required for every commuter to be stamped on hands who have been kept under home quarantine for coronavirus.

Required quantity of indelible ink will be procured from Mysore. Additional Chief Secretary and Special Relief Commissioner have issued new guidelines for the usage of these stamps and it’s protocol.
