Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik warned that Odisha may face the second wave of COVID-19 in December. Reviewing the COVID-19 situation in the state, the Chief Minister said people need to be vigilant.
“As the second phase of COVID-19 in Odisha is expected in the second week of December, we need to be vigilant now,” he said.

“In order to avoid the second phase of the infection, we need to strictly adhere to the rules such as wearing a mask, maintaining social distance and washing our hands.”
The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction over the lower daily COVID-19 cases and the rising recovery rate. He praised the administration and the police for their role in tackling the pandemic.
