Odisha man writes letter to family after 42 years in Pakistan Jail

A man who had been missing for the last 42 years, wrote a letter to his family stating that he is alive and been forced to remain in an unpleasant place and situation in Pakistan jail.

Gouranga Padhi was missing since 1974 from village of Jarida under Soro in Balasore district. Happiness knew no bounds when the family members received a letter from Gouranga.

The family members have urged the State Government to take immediate step to bring back Gouranga.
