Odisha Matric Exam Question pattern to change from 2020-2021

ONI Bureau:  The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha on Thursday decided to bring major changes in conduct of the Matriculation examination from 2020-21 academic sessions onwards.

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) President Jahanara Begum informed that 2019 matriculation examination will have 4 sets of question papers instead of 3, whereas the pattern for Class IX students will be same as the new pattern proposed to be implemented from 2020-21 sessions.

She also informed that the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheet & multiple choice questions will be abolished from 2020-21 sessions.

However, candidate has to score 15 marks each in objective and subjective questions to pass the exam from 2019 onward.

Likewise, objective questions of 50 marks and subjective type questions of 50 marks will feature in the question booklet for the Annual High School Certificate Examination, 2019.
