Odisha: Met dept predicts heavy rain in next 24 hours

ONI Bureau:  Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to lash several parts of Odisha over the influence of low pressure formed over Bay of Bengal.

There will be rain and thundershower in most places in the districts of north coastal Odisha including many places in the districts of the rest of the state.

The Regional Meteorological Centre issued thunderstorm & heavy rain alert for Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Keonjhar, Sundergarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Deogarh and Jagatsinghpur districts till 1:15 PM today.

Fishermen have been advised not to venture into sea during next 24 hours as MeT predicted rough to very rough sea conditions off the Odisha coast.
