Odisha Mountaineer, Kalpana Dash Breathed Her Last On Mount Everest

Kalpana Dash, a distinguished mountaineer from Odisha, died on Thursday afternoon above the balcony area on Mount Everest.
A member of the ‘Three Women Expedition’ managed by Dreamers Destination Treks, Kalpana along with Kanchhi Maya Tamang from Nepal and Liyamu Ma from China made it to the pinnacle at 12:55 but she felt restless while descending and died near the balcony area.

Kalpana had climbed Mt Everest successfully in 2008.
