Odisha Police arrest Woman who involve in Baby Theft; 2 newborns rescued

Commissionerate Police on Saturday arrested the Woman who have involved in baby theft at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack on March 8.

The woman was accused of stealing newborns from SCB Medical on January 5 and March 8 identified herself as working at a Cuttack-based nursing home.

Police have rescued two newborns, one from Kafla Bazar and another from Barang area.

It is to be noted that a one-day-old infant born at SCB Medical was allegedly stolen by an unidentified woman on Wednesday. In this regard, father of the allegedly stolen infant, lodged a complaint at Manglabag police station.
