Odisha Police arrested History Sheeter in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Jan 15: A special squad of Commisionerate of Police arrested one history sheeter here on Thursday against whom 49 cases are registered at several police stations in the city. The accused was identified as Nirajan Swain (42) alias Nanda of Beguniavasta under Astaranga police jurisdiction in Puri District.

Police informed that he and his associates Nulu Swain (40) and K. Simadari were involved in many burglary and robbery cases. Police said they have recovered gold and silver ornaments of around 172 grams and 150 grams respectively and an iron rod from them.

Police they committed robbery at the house of one SK Maruf in Dhauli on 7 July 2015 from there they looted gold ornaments, one laptop, mobile and cash Rs.25,000.  Swain and Simadari were arrested earlier while the king pin Nada was arrested on Thursday.
