Odisha ranks 2nd in implementation of AMRUT Scheme
ONI Bureau: Odisha has secured second place in India in the implementation of the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) scheme in the state.
Odisha has made remarkable progress in the implementation of AMRUT scheme in nine towns of the state.
As per the National Level Rating Framework assessment up to August 21, Odisha achieved 2nd position by scoring 53.19 marks for its remarkable progress in the implementation of the scheme in nine towns of the state while Andhra Pradesh has grabbed 1st position by scoring 54.11 marks.
After review of the projects on Tuesday, Chief Secretary A P Padhi directed the State’s Housing and Urban Development department to cover all households and entire population in AMRUT cities through pipe water supply as a first priority.
