Odisha ranks 2nd in India in COVID-19 tests per day per million

Odisha ranks second after Goa in conducting COVID-19 tests per day per million population. The Ministry of Health released a statistical bar chart on Friday with the said information.

The bar-chart shows the states which have conducted more than 140 COVID tests per day per million population.

While Goa stands at the first place with 1.826 tests per day per million, Odisha is on the second spot with 1,265 COVID-19 cases. The national average of India stands at 580.

Delhi with 1,111 tests is on the third spot and is followed by Ladakh (945). Larger states like Madhya Pradesh are below national average with 244 COVID-19 daily tests per million population.

Similarly, Rajasthan is conducting 309 tests per day per million while Odisha’s neighbour West Bengal is holding 365 tests.
