Odisha ranks 5th in India Today’s ‘State of States Ranking’

Bhubaneswar, Nov 10: Odisha ranked as 5^th best state in the country for the year 2015 in the survey conducted by leading news magazine ‘India Today.’

The magazine has conducted its survey ‘State of States Ranking’ for the year 2015 in which Odisha is at 5^th place. Last year the state was ranked at 16^th place.

The magazine has been conducting the survey for last 12 years highlighting the sectors like – agriculture, administration, education, health, investment, infrastructure, environment and sanitation.

Expressing happiness over the surge in the ranking of Odisha, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik tweeted on his Twitter handle ‏@Naveen_Odisha as “India Today State of states ranking. Remarkable jump in Composite rankings for Odisha from 16th to 5th Rank .We’will continue our Good work”.
