Odisha: Rare Conjoined Twins Born In Kendrapara

A woman in Odisha’s Kendrapara district gave birth to conjoined twins at a private hospital.

The twin-girls are joined at the chest and abdomen. This rare medical condition is known as ‘Siamese twins.’

The condition of the twins are stated to be stable.

Meanwhile, their parents Ambika and Umakant Parida of Kani village in Kendrapara district have sought the government’s help for the treatment. ]
