Cold wave conditions intensified in Odisha as the mercury dropped to 3 degrees celsius at Daringibadi in Kandhamal district, making it the coldest place in the State.
As per the IMD report, Phulbani was recorded 4.5 degree Celsius, Sundergarh at 7 degree Celsius, Jharsuguda 7.8 degree and Bhawanipatna recorded 8 degree Celsius respectively. Meantime, Hirakud and Keonjhar was recorded to be 8.2 degree Celsius.
