Odisha Surpasses COVID19 Vaccine Target on Day 2

Odisha, on Monday, surpassed its own COVID19 vaccine target as it topped the tally with 102 per cent jabs.

A total of 32,526 frontline workers were vaccinated as against the target set at 31, 902.

The Health Department stated that 17 districts registered vaccination of over 100 per cent. Kendrapara topped the list with 163 per cent, followed by Bhadrak (136 per cent).

The per cent in Bhubaneswar, however, remained low at 68 per cent.

Meanwhile, the Odisha Government made it clear that the health workers will not be given free COVID19 vaccine in future if they miss the date of their vaccination.
