Odisha to implement ‘no helmet-no fuel’ initiative to control road accidents

Odisha government on Friday asked the police to take up the ‘no helmet-no fuel’ initiative as a public movement to ensure road safety.

The Chief Secretary A P Padhi while reviewing the road measures in the state said that this step have been taken to control road accidents.

Both Police and Transport department will work together to look after the issues related to checking of drink and drive, traffic violations and identifying black spots on the National Highways.
