Odisha Vigilance to take IAS Partha Sarathi on 2-day Remand

The Special Vigilance Court, Cuttack on Monday allowed the State Vigilance to take Partha Sarathi Mishra, the Managing Director of Orissa Small Industries Corporation Ltd (OSIC) on two-day remand from tomorrow for interrogation into a corruption case.

The IAS officer was earlier arrested on Friday following raids at his offices and residence, following which the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has suspended him from his duties.

So far the anti-corruption wing officials detected Rs 5 crore assets of the officer.
