Odisha’s gully boy brings homemade RAP

Duleshwar Tandi aka Rapper Dule Rocker, a 27-year-old Dalit and a migrant labourer from Odisha’s Kalahandi locale is drawing the considerable attention of the individuals through his rap melodies that portray the situation of transient specialists amid the lockdown due to COVID-19.

Needless to say that the songs touch a chord with the individuals and have gone viral. Tandi may be a science graduate. During the lockdown, he used to wipe tables and wash plates at an eatery in Chhattisgarh’s Raipur. He came to his minor Borda town domestic in Walk fair a day sometime recently the national lockdown was declared.

“In that video, I rapped about how the migrant workers who had saved their hard-earned money lost everything in a matter of days after the factories and construction sites were closed due to the lockdown. All that the leaders were doing is giving us sermons instead of helping the migrant workers. I was angry and so wrote down the rap song,” Tandi said.
