Odsha CM announces Rs 10L Ex-gratia, Pension for Uri Martyr’s Family

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh for the family of Uri terrorist attack martyr BSF jawan Pitabas Majhi and a monthly pension of Rs 2000 for the next of the kin of Majhi.

It should be noted that, Odia BSF Jawan Pitabasa Majhi of Danojhala village under Komana police limits of Nuapada district, who was injured during combing operation aftermath Uri Attacks died at the Army Hospital in Srinagar on Saturday.

The death toll in the Uri terror attack rose to 19 with the death of 30-year-old Pitabas Majhi.
