Officials seize 7,000 Litre PDS Kerosene in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Oct 24: Acting on a tip off, a team led by Bhubaneswar sub-collector raided on many godowns in the capital on Friday over illegal hoarding of pulses.

According to reports, the team busted the illegal of stock of 7,000 litre of Public Distribution System (PDS) kerosene from a place near Odisha hotel in Budubudukia forest on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar on Friday evening.

The officials have seized 35 barrels and 18 plastic barrels of  kerosene from the area during the raids.  Notably, the officials of Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare had sealed a godown in Mancheswar area in the city for illegal hoarding of pulses on Thursday.
