OHRC serves Notice to 6 Top Officials over Chilika Boat Capsize

Expressing concern over the tragic incident at Chilka lake, the Odisha Human Rights Commission (OHRC) has issued notice to the six top officials of the state government over the alleged negligence and asked them to submit a detail report within three weeks.

It is to be noted that the tragedy took place when the ill-fated boat was on its way to Ghantasila hill from Sabulia ghat carrying as many as 29 persons.

At least four persons were killed and 22 others injured in that Boat Capsize on Saturday morning.
