One Woman Maoist Cadre Killed in Kandhamal Encounter

A woman Maoist cadre was killed in an encounter in Odisha’s Kandhamal district, Odisha DGP Abhay informed.

Based on specific input, two units of SOG and DVF launched an operation under Gochhapada police in Kandhamal district.

During the course of operation an exchange of fire took place on Friday afternoon in which one lady Maoist Cadre in uniform was neutralized. Two fire arms and four rounds of bullets and other Maoists articles were recovered.
