OPCC Chief Prasad Harichandan gets a temporary relief

ONI Bureau: With Congress President Rahul Gandhi deciding to retain all PCC Chiefs till further notice, Prasad Harichandan got a breather. The change of guard in Odisha Congress is ruled out as of now.

The press release from Congress General Secretary Janardan Dwivedy says, “The Presidents of all Pradesh Congress Committees, Regional Congress Committees and Territorial Congress Committees will continue in their posts after the organisational election also unless some decision is taken to replace him”.

So, it’s not a permanent relief for Prasad Harichandan who is facing stiff resistance within the party. However, he definitely got a fresh lifeline.
