OPCC paid tribute to JB Patnaik on his first Death Anniversary

Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) and political leaders from various parties assembled at the Rabindra Mandap, Bhubaneswar to pay rich tributes to veteran Congressman Janaki Ballav Patnaik.

Three-time Odisha Chief Minister and former Assam Governor Janaki Ballav Patnaik was the architect of modern Odisha. He was a journalist, litterateur and politician.

He has given importance of promoting small-scale industry, agriculture, water irrigation and Industrial development work. He has done immense work in promoting and preserving Jagannath culture and Odia culture.

He had dedicated his life in the service of mankind. It is our duty to carry forward his developmental works which he had started,” Social activist Tulasi Munda said.

OPCC President Prasad Harichandan, Debi Prasanna Pattanayak, Kanhu Charan Lenka, Niranjan Patnaik, Jayadev Jena, Lalatendu Bidyadhar Mohapatra and aother leaders were also paid tribute to Mr. Patnaik.
