Orissa HC grants conditional Bail to Papu Pom Pom, Pradipta

Orissa High Court on Wednesday granted conditional bails to Ollywood comedian Papu Pom Pom alias Tatwa Prakash Satapathy and his aide Pradipta Swain alias Gitu in the minor girl casting couch case.

The Court has asked Papu to co operate the investigation process and not to influence witnesses in the case.

Both Papu and Pradipta were arrested by the Commissionerate Police on June 30 from Neelachal Apartment in Puri town as they have been accused of sexually abusing a minor girl on the pretext of giving her a break in the Odia movies.

earlier, he was produced at the residential court of Khurda district and sessions judge, but his bail plea was denied and sent to Jharpada Jail.
