Over 25,000 DLs cancelled by Odisha Govt in last 8-10 Months

Odisha Transport Commissioner, Dr. Chandra Shekhar Kumar said steps being taken to stop overloading, drunk driving and use of mobile phone during driving.

Kumar further said that 25,000 Driving Licenses (DLs) cancelled in last 8-10 months.

According to Transport Commissioner, Centre will be requested to add refresher training provision for Drivers during renewal of Driving License.

RTO report said Maharaja Bus Driver was talking over mobile phone, which led to the accident. Further probe is on. A meeting of Bus & Truck Owners convened on Monday.
