Pal Heights Mantra launches Cake Mixing Ceremony ahead of Christmas

ONI Bureau:  Pal Heights Mantra, a luxury hotel at Pahala began its Christmas celebrations with the launch of cake mixing ceremony on Saturday.

The first step towards making the cake is the mixing process, formally called the ‘Cake Mixing Ceremony’. The cake mixing will be made at 24th night in oven and will be live for public on Christmas Day.

The Mayfair Lagoon at Bhubaneswar is the first who hosted the customary Christmas Cake Mixing Ceremony. Now Pal Heights Mantra is the second in Odisha to host the Mixing Ceremony.

General Manager of Pal Heights Mantra, Mr. Sushant Mahapatra said the Cake mixing is being made with 15 types of dry fruits like Cashew, Raisins, Sultanas, Almond, Anjeer, Akhrot, Black Currant, Apricot, Fig, and Orange peel mixed with liquor as rum, wine and brandy.

Speaking on how to preserve the cake for a year, the main Chef of Mantra, Pradipta kumar Panda said every month they will open and mix the cake. This cake has to be preserved for one year. Everybody including kids can have this Plum cake.
