Parakram Diwas: On Netaji Jayanti, Naveen Patnaik Lays Foundation Stone of Netaji Bus Terminal

On Parakram Diwas, the 125th birth anniversary of freedom fighter Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik laid foundation stone of the Netaji Bus Terminal at Cuttack.

The Chief Minister said that the state government will hold a year-long programme for his 125th birth anniversary.

The Chief Minister first visited Janakinath Bhawan, Netaji’s birthplace in Oriya bazar, Cuttack. He then laid foundation stone of the Cuttack Netaji Bus Terminal at Khannagar, Cuttack. Once constructed in an area of 11,000 square kms, the new bus terminal can accommodate 160 buses.
