Passenger Train leaves behind 3 bogies at Puri station; rolls for 5 kms

ONI Bureau: At least 3 bogies of Puri-Cuttack (58415) passenger train get detached from engine at Puri Railway Station on Tuesday and the train travelled for nearly 5 kms.

When the loco-pilot observed the sudden surge in the speed of the locomotive, tried to bring the train back to the Station. However, the train was seen returning to the station before 28 mints of its departure.

The three bogies were attached with the engine and the train again departed at 8:29 am from the Puri railway station.
