PCC President Niranjan Patnaik launches special edition of ‘Congress Barta’

ONI Bureau:  The State unit of Congress launched the special edition of ‘Congress Barta’ at Congress Bhawan in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday.

Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee President Niranjan Patnaik alongwith Odisha Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee President Sumitra Jena and other leaders were present in the occasion.

Paying tribute to 1st Chief Minister Dr.Harekrushna Mahatab on his birth anniversary today Niranjan Patnaik said, Naveen Govt failed to show respect to Odisha freedom fighters and eminent personalities.

Though land was sanctioned for installing statue of Harekrushna Mahatab in Bhadrak district, later the project was rejected by the district administration.

Congress will stage dharna in front of district administration on November 27, if the State Goverment fails to give land for installing statue of Mahatab, Niranjan Patnaik said.
