Plus-II exams on CBSE pattern in Odisha

In a major development, the Odisha government has decided to separate the Plus-II stream from the Higher Education Department to the School and Mass Education Department.

Higher Education Minister Pradeep Panigrahi said, “the syllabus, conduct of examinations will be changed and the teaching process will also be in CBSE pattern to bring it in line with national standards.”

The examination pattern will give more importance to objective questions rather than subjectives as per the requirements of engineering and medical streams.
