PM Modi expresses grief over lightning deaths in Odisha

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday expressed grief over lightning deaths in various parts of Odisha in last two days.

At least 45 persons were killed and 50 others were injured by lightning in the State, official sources said.

“The unfortunate loss of lives due to lightning in Odisha is saddening. Deepest condolences to the families of the deceased”, Modi tweeted.

“I hope those injured due to lightning in Odisha recover soon,” the PM added.
