Police arrests AHHA Director on Sexual Harassment charges

Bhubaneswar, Nov 19: The Commissionerate Police on Thursday arrested the director of Air Hostess and Hospitality Academy (AHHA) on sexual harassment charges. Irate students ransacked the institute on Wednesday alleging sexual harassment charges against the director.

As per reports, police arrested Dillip Routray, director of AHHA on the charges of abetting sexual harassment. Student alleged that the official of the city based air hostess institute used to send students out of state where they were sexually harassed. They also alleged the officials of cheat them by charging hefty course fees. The institution neither conduct examination after completion of classes nor provided any certificates, students alleged.

DCP Satyabrat Bhoi told media that action was taken as per complaints filed by the students against the institution and its officials including director. He further said a team of police officers would go to Hyderabad where students were allegedly sexually harassed.
