Police Commissionerate closes Mancheswar Level Crossing

Bhubaneswar, Sep 22: Police Commissionerate notified that the Mancheswar level crossing will be closed with immediate effect for the construction of railway over bridge. In a statement issued here, the police department said that all vehicles plying on VSS Nagar road and intending to go to Mancheswar Industrial Estate will pass through VSS Nagar level crossing. And vehicle from Mancheswar Industrial areas will pass through VSS Nagar level crossing.

Police also warned that violation of the instant order would be an offence and punishable under section 96 of Odisha Urban Police Act 2003 and compoundable with find of Rs.500 which may extend upto Rs. 1000 by an officer of above the rank of Inspector of Police.
