Postmaster shot dead in Malkangiri; Maoist involvement suspected

ONI Bureau:   A Postmaster was allegedly killed by some miscreants at Kamalapadar village under Chitrakonda police limits in Odisha’s Malkangiri district last night.

The deceased has been identified as Narayan Polasi, posted as postmaster in Papuluru Sub Post office.

As per report, a group of armed miscreants had thrashed Narayan from his residence last night and later killed him.

It is suspected that Maoists committed the crime, suspecting him as police informer.
