Pradeep Majhi takes a stand, criticises Congress High Command

In a sensational development, senior Congress leader and former Nabarangpur MP Pradeep Majhi has vented his ire on the Congress High Command by criticising her of ignoring the real issues and failing to control the state leadership.

Pradeep, who has been kept himself from Congress activities of late, spoke him mind on Twitter and Facebook, stirring an hornet’s nest.

Earlier he tweeted from (#wakeupnaveen) that, “So Haryana is next Odisha. Soft stand and lack of initiative from high command to make state leaders accountable is damaging the party.”

On Facebook, he posted, “Tribal and Dalit leaders are just kept as showpieces. There is serious lack of coordination with the youth wing. Our public relations office is weaker than BJP and our event management leaves a lot to be desired. Our fund-raising channels are not target-oriented and our logistic wing lacks manpower.”

It can be seen as a kind of rebellion in Odisha Congress. It is believed that he is already inching closer to ruling BJD or may even join the BJP by hailing Narendra Modi as his leader.
