Prasad Harichandan resigns as OPCC Chief after Bijepur Debacle

ONI Bureau:  After the Congress debacle in recently-concluded Bijepur Bypoll, the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) President Prasad Harichandan on Wednesday resigned from the post.

Harichandan has sent his resignation letter to party president Rahul Gandhi owning moral responsibility for Bijepur debacle, informed AICC in-charge of Odisha B K Hariprasad.

Worth mentioning, Harichandan, a former Minister and three-time MLA had took over as OPCC President in December 2014.
