Pregnant Woman carried in a sling for 5 kms in Malkangiri

ONI Bureau:  A pregnant woman of Lachhamipur village under Gunthabeda panchayat in Malkangiri district carried in sling for 5 kms as 102 ambulance fails to reach her due to non-motorable road.

As per report, a woman complained of labour pain early today following which the family members with the help of an ASHA worker and driver of the ambulance, carried her for five kms where the ambulance was waiting for her.

Later, she was rushed to the Chitrakonda hospital by the ambulance and her condition is stated to be stable.
